We need your comments for new pipe choices - Clear vs Gray

Greetings to all!

We need the insight of our official Monster Miester's.

We have been having a real run on the online store and due to high demand need to re-stock the pipes. Before we do we would like your opinion.

The clear pipe is something we thought was essential to keeping an eye on the fog flow as it rolls though the pipe system. (Looks pretty sweet too!) However, it is quite expensive in comparison to normal gray pipe. The primary cost is the connectors. For example gray connectors are at least 1/2 the cost of clear.

If you have not been by the store lately take a look at the new pipe pricing.

Given the choice, would you prefer to have a low cost gray pipe, or do you feel the look and function of the clear pipe with the fog is worth the more expensive pricing? We could also do a hybrid system of gray connectors and clear tubing.

#69 Final Call For Backer Rewards! - Response Needed if You Are A Backer That Did Not Receive Your Reward.

Title says it all! We have finished sending out shipping invitations to all KS backers. Nearly all have responded but some may have gotten sent to spam along the way so here is a friendly reminder.

If you are a KS Backer and have not received your original reward from the project it is imperative that you contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can get your reward out to you.

To clarify we are referring only to your original reward. Some KS backers have received their reward and returned to the store to place additional orders. This is not what we are referring to and there is no reason to contact us for those. We are still fulfilling those orders daily.

If you are visiting here as a Pre-Order customer there is no need to contact us, again, we are still fulfilling those rewards daily.

This has been an amazing KS journey for us and we have met some really nice folks along the way. We will do our best to put out exciting new "mind bending" real game effects and hope you will join us on these projects as well.

We have some very exciting projects coming up later this year and are teaming up with some some amazing game developers to fulfill them. We will make announcements as we get closer. We can honestly say the best is yet to come.

#68 Kickstarter Backer Shipping Wrap up - Pre-Order Shipping Begins!

Greetings Monster Lovers!

We have completed sending out email shipping invitations to all of the Kickstarter Backers. As of today over 700 Fog Monster orders have been fulfilled! There are still a few KS backers that have not replied to their shipping email invitation. We encourage you to do so as quickly as possible as we will next focus our attention on Pre-Order store buyers.

Altogether we are showing through Backerkit 926 backers and it looks like we are going to sell out our inventory soon. All we can say is Thank You again for your support! - Looks like we may have to do a "KS Fog Monster 2" with some groovy new features. If there is anything you would like to see in a new Fog Monster 2 let us know!

"But I didn't get an invitation!" Hold on there partner. There are two ways we are fulfilling.

1. For Kickstarter project items - If you bought a reward from the Kickstarter Campaign we have already sent you an email shipping invitation. If you are a Kickstarter Campaign Backer and have not received an email invitation, please check your spam first, then you may write us at [email protected].

2. For additional Pre-Order Store items - We are fulfilling Pre-Order Store items after the KS Campaign items so that we can be sure we have set aside enough inventory. As a KS backer we have bundled items like the Spine Tooth Cavern in with your KS project shipping items.

Pre-Order Shipping Begins July 1st

1. If you are not a KS backer we will be sending your shipping invitations next. 

2. If you are a KS backer but have added more items through the Pre-Order store we will send you another shipping invitation for your Pre-Order items.

"Wait, what? I'm confused about the pre-order" No worries, if you have placed an Pre-order we know who you are and will send you an invitation. You do not need to do anything at this time.

#67 Moving Inventory From ShipBob To Our Warehouse - Final Phase Shipping

We have shipped out hundreds of orders worldwide and are turning the bend on the final phase of shipping. We are now up to 933 Backers! Awesome indeed :)

All the inventory has been moved out of ShipBob and is now on the road to our office/warehouse. Inventory is sceduled to arrive the week of June 4th and we will need that week to unbox and prepare the remaining orders for shipping.

What does this mean for backers who are waiting for shipping? For those who have not yet received their order, no worries, we are keeping track of your individual needs and will fulfill accordingly.

Here are some things to keep in mind if you have not received your order yet. All the items below will be taken care of through our office in final phase shipping.

• Some backers, have special needs like orders that can be bundled with the Spine Tooth Cavern, or LED lights.
  
• Some backers have not replied to their shipping invitations (may have gone into spam, or may have changed their email address since KS).
• Some backers are waiting on replacement or missing parts that can be bundled.
• Some backers were better suited to shipping from our office instead of ShipBob so they have not yet received a shipping invitation.
• Some International customers have requested ground shipping to USA locations instead of Air Express.
• There were a few backers shipping that fell in between the move from ShipBob to our office, we will fulfill those orders from here.
  
• Pre-Order Store customers in general they are fulfilled after KS backers.
• Finally, some have placed new Add-On orders from the pre-order store to add to the KS reward they have already received. We will get to these asap but we want to make sure everyone gets their initial KS reward package first.
  

What do you need to do if you have not yet received your order? -  Nothing at this time, we will contact the remaining backers and Pre-Order Store customers per your individual needs. (If you have recently changed your email, or shipping address let us know)

Thank you again for your awesome support!  Even Monsters have growing pains and we have learned a lot from our backers here in this project. Overall the experience has been very encouraging. It is inspiring us to make even better offerings for the future :) Looking forward to getting your orders out and some great pictures in!

#66 - USA Fog Monster Instructional Videos - PDF Overview Download - Troubleshooting Tips

To help with the setup of your machines we have created two brief instructional overview videos for both the Fog Monster and Dark Crypt fog machines along with a few tips and tricks. 

We chose video instructions rather than written instructions as we can explain so much more. There are no written instructions in the package.  You may also download the PDF overview for your fog machine below. Troubleshooting Tips and Tricks

Please make sure you have downloaded the appropriate "fog-monster-overview" or "dark-crypt-overview" PDF. (right click on link and save as, or click the link and open the download from your browser.)

Important! DO NOT USE DEMINERALISED WATER OR TABLETS IN THE MACHINES - Use tap water only.

If after following the online instructional video you are not seeing fog please try the following.

Check The Pump Elbow

1. Make sure the small black pump elbow between the pump and the Fog Riser does not come loose. Sometimes when you lower the fog riser assembly into the Fog Monster case the little black plastic elbow (between the pump and the fog riser) may come loose or fall off and disconnect the pump from the Fog Riser cup.

Make sure the pump is working correctly by plugging the pump only into the power supply. The water should constantly be pumping out and over the sides of the Fog Riser cup.

2. If the Fog Riser cup is filling up with water but there is no fog from the 24v fogger check to make sure you are plugged into the correst 24v socket.

3. Always plug the pump wire into the power supply first (the order is important so do not deviate from below)

A. Plug the power supply into the wall.

B. Plug the water pump wire into the 5v socket on the power supply.

C. Lastly plug the fogger wire into the 24v power supply socket.

Check the Power Supply version

- Dark Crypt Version: Look at the "Dark Crypt Tips" PDF and confirm that you have the correct power supply for the correct machine.

- Fog Monster Version: Look at the "Fog Monster Tips" PDF and confirm that you have the correct power supply for the correct machine.
